Ronnie Milsap brings vintage ’80s country to Port Allen

Sunday is Veterans Day, and Ronnie Milsap is performing his hits songs (“Wouldn’t Have Missed It for the World,” “He Got You,” “Any Day Now”) across the river. The Louisiana All Veterans Reunion Organization hosts their first parade and concert in the park, featuring the blind Grammy winner, Nashville Star’s David St. Romain and bluesman Lil’ Ray Neal. The annual West Baton Rouge Veterans on Parade rolls through downtown Port Allen at 1 p.m., and the gates of Rivault Memorial Park (899 Jefferson Ave., near the levee) open at 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance at louisianaallveteransreunion.com and American Gateway Bank branches, and $15 at the gate. Free for children under 12.
