Urban planner Alex Krieger of Cambridge, Mass., who’s leading the second phase of Plan Baton Rouge, speaks Friday about the city’s economically based urban design and how to continue the resurgence of downtown. The talk, A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with a Single Step… And a good map, begins at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Manship Theatre.
