Get your tickets now to Mansion gala, Oliver!

Tickets are selling fast for the tenth-annual Old Governor’s Mansion Gala, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.  Thursday, Oct. 30, in support of the Foundation for Historic Preservation. This year’s theme, “Louisiana’s Famous & Infamous,” calls for people to dress as their favorite Louisiana personage, past or present, such as Huey and Earl and Blaze, Marie Laveau, Lafitte the pirate, the Blue Dog or Jolie Blonde. Otherwise, black tie for men, glitzy dress for women. Tickets are $100 for FHL members; $125 for guests; $50 for those 30 years old and younger. Call 387-2464 or visit fhl.org for details.
