Road trip: Boudin festival debuts in Lafayette

Sample more than 1,300 pounds of boudin this Saturday in downtown Lafayette at the first-ever Boudin Cook-Off. Cajun music, a cochon de lait, a boudin toss and a Pin the Tail on the Pig contest are all a part of the festivities. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit boudincookoff.com for details.
