Louisiana Dance Festival features state’s most gifted

After spending the afternoon at the Book Festival downtown, head to the Manship Theatre that evening to see some of the area’s top performers at the Louisiana Dance Festival. Check out choreographies from Tsunami Dance Company, Cangelosi Dance Project, Of Moving Colors, Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre, Delta Festival Ballet, as well as Gina Bashour of New York, among others. 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4. Tickets are $15 to $25. A student showcase starts at 2 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Manship Theatre.
