Baton Rouge's #1 lifestyle magazine since 2005

Baton Rouge through your eyes

Enter 225’s photo contest with your best shot!

225 invites readers, amateur shutterbugs and professional photographers to submit your best photographs of 2008 in our “Here’s Looking at 225” contest.

We’ll select our favorite images, with the top winners earning the chance to see their work on the cover of 225 magazine.

So, what are we looking for? Photos that capture the spirit of life in the 225 area code, from celebration to struggle, from the moving to the hilarious.

We’re looking for photos that reveal the soul and spirit of our people, and the character of our city.

You may only enter unpublished photos that you’ve taken yourself. Camera-phone photos tend to be of poor quality, so we prefer pictures taken with proper digital cameras.

There are two categories: one for professional, working photographers not affiliated with 225 magazine, while non-professionals may enter the Amateur category (see prizes above).

Review all the rules below. Then submit your best shots via e-mail to [email protected] with the phrase “Amateur” or “Professional” in the subject line.
