Louisiana artists share music, stories at Manship

Take four prominent local musicians, sit them down in a circle and just about anything could happen. Pal Productions does just that with the latest in its Louisiana Songwriters series, featuring Baton Rouge bluesman Tab Benoit, Lafayette roots pianist David Egan, southern alt-rocker Benjy Davis and Shreveport’s soulful Maggie Warwick at the Manship Theatre on Thursday, Aug. 7. The musicians will take turns playing their favorite songs and telling the stories behind some of their best work. $25. 7:30 p.m.
