Lindsay Rae’s CD release party at Spanish Moon

Baton Rouge has its own Sara Bareilles. Lindsay Rae Spurlock celebrates the release of her new album, Heart On, at the Spanish Moon on July 18. Spurlock’s piano-driven songs are catchy and would fit snugly next to the radio hits of Duffy and Vanessa Carlton. The Lafayette native also is kin to Jerry Lee Lewis and country legend Mickey Gilley, so it’s likely that she will become pop-music royalty. 10 p.m.
