Sneak peek at downtown’s latest art happening

Imagine a mix of Mid City’s White Light Night and New Orleans’ White Linen Night. Enter Arte Rouge 2008, a multimedia art event coming to downtown Baton Rouge on Saturday, Oct. 18. To whet your appetite, however, organizers are hosting a preview fundraiser and wine-tasting party Saturday, April 5 at Boudreaux & Thibodeaux’s. The event will feature work by local artists Lou DeAngelo, Dennis Hargroder, Tony Mose, Jeramie Rivette and Hannah Lane Romero. 5 p.m. $5 suggested donation.
