With inked up appendages, a flowing Mufasa mane and a shadowy past, David Allan Coe has always been a little like Willie Nelson’s scary uncle. With hits like “Won’t You Lay Down with Me” and “Take This Job and Shove It,” he became a country rock star on the fringe in the 1970s and remains popular today. Coe’s band rolls into the Texas Music Hall on Feb. 22. 7 p.m. $18.
