Twenty in their 20s 2026: Anna Heine Ginn and Brandon Ginn
Anna Heine Ginn, 27
Senior financial accountant, Lamar Advertising Company

Heine Ginn’s first appearance in 225 Magazine was in 2012, when at the age of 13 she was named one of our “People to Watch” due to her prodigious golf talent. Five years later, she won a state individual golf championship, but success has also come to her as a CPA with Lamar, where she has expertise in financial reporting. She married fellow honoree Brandon Ginn in 2024.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
The accountant in me loves quarterly and year-end reporting. There’s a deep satisfaction in taking a high volume of data and distilling it into a clear, accurate financial story that the business can rely on.
How does your golf background help you in
your career?
Under my father’s coaching, I cultivated a level of self-discipline that carried me through my CPA candidacy and continues to drive my performance today.
Advice for your 18-year-old self?
Master the art of slowing down. I’ve always enjoyed knocking out a to-do list, but I now know that the best work happens when you give yourself permission to step back and slow down.

Brandon Ginn, 26
Wealth management advisor, Merrill Lynch

In his role with the Baton Rouge-based Merrill Lynch Wealth Management advisory team Ginn Wealth Management, Ginn treats financial planning like a puzzle, “figuring out every scenario, running projections and building strategies that fit someone’s unique life and goals.” He is a member of Keep Tiger Town Beautiful and serves as vice president of the Baton Rouge Woodworkers Club, which builds and donates items to nonprofits.
What would you consider your greatest accomplishments so far?
Personally, my greatest accomplishment is marrying my best friend, Anna. She’s my partner in everything, and that’s my biggest win. Professionally, it’s earning my CFP designation, one of the most demanding certifications in financial planning.
What motivates you to be involved with Keep Tiger Town Beautiful?
I enjoy the instant gratification; we put in a few hours on a cleanup and immediately the area looks much better.
How do you define success?
The positive impact I have on the people around me.
Can you share a fun fact about yourself?
At our rehearsal dinner, I boldly declared I’d one day beat Anna in a round of golf. Two years later and I’ve only beaten her on nine holes. But I’m not giving up.
