15th annual Cooking in Central, sponsored by City of Central

Cooking in Central will bring thousands out for food, music, and carnival activities on March 25 and 26. No tickets are required to join this event as it is run entirely by volunteers. In the past, Cooking in Central has raised millions in support of education and victims of natural disasters. This year’s cook out will raise money for Lower Terrebonne Parish, devastated by Hurricane Ida.

Friday, March 25

4 p.m. – Gates open
5 p.m – Crawfish boil
6 p.m. – Progressive auction
7 p.m. – The Molly Ringwalds Band

Saturday, March 26

2 p.m. – Gates open
4 p.m. – 5 p.m. – School of Rock Band
5 p.m. – Jambalaya, BBQ chicken, Chouchon-du-Lait or Pork Roast
6 p.m. – Live auction
7 p.m. – Chase Tyler Band
