Get festive with florals at Kalurah Street Grill Wednesday
Tonight, May 9, treat your mom to an early Mother’s Day activity by taking her to a flower arranging workshop at Kalurah Street Grill. The workshop was arranged by Bubbles & Blooms at Alice’s Table. Throughout the class, participants can enjoy seasonal sangria cocktails. At the end of the night, they’ll be able to take home a centerpiece arrangement. $65. 6-8 p.m.
Drink at The Radio Bar and support area dogs Thursday
Tomorrow, May 10, unwind after work at The Radio Bar’s Yappy Hour. With the purchase of a ticket, attendees will receive a happy hour drink, a choice of wine, well or draft beer, and the remaining proceeds will benefit Second Chance Dog Rescue. The organization is a nonprofit dog rescue committed to rescuing, rehabbing and rehoming sick, elderly and neglected dogs. $10. 4-7 p.m.
Brunch at Cane Land for Mother’s Day Sunday
Take your mom to Boozie Brunch at Cane Land Distilling Company this Sunday, May 13. Food will be provided by Wink’s Barbecue & Smokehouse, and Cane Land will be running drink specials including $5 bloody marys and $6 screwdrivers. No reservations necessary. 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Celebrate Mother’s Day at Zea Rotisserie & Bar Sunday
This Sunday, May 13, stop by Zea’s in Baton Rouge for a special Mother’s Day celebration. All moms will receive a $10 gift certificate as well as a commemorative photo with their family. 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m.
The One with Friends Trivia
Next Tuesday night, May 15, head to Huey’s Bar for Friends Trivia. Throughout the night, participants can sip on $6 domestic pitchers and $1 mixed shots. Trivia winners qualify for a host of prizes, including a $50 bar tab and free shots. 9:30 p.m.-midnight.
