‘You Can Touch’ features artwork by four local ceramic artists starting April 29
This Sunday, the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge will open its latest exhibit: “You Can Touch,” a ceramics show.
The exhibition will showcase works by ceramic artists Christina Kieffer, Osa Atoe, Katie Smith and Taylor Myers, each of whom are in a post-baccalaureate program at LSU.
Their works vary in subject and style—some are whimsical, while others are more narrative. Some are highly functional and others are solely meant to hang on the wall or sit on pedestals.

In celebration of the opening, there will be a special brunch reception with the artists 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday.
The exhibition is playful, but some artwork may not be suitable for young audiences.
“You Can Touch” will be on view in the Firehouse Gallery April 29-May 4. The Firehouse Gallery is housed in the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge at 427 Laurel St.
