Theatre Baton Rouge’s production of ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ continues this weekend
Theatre Baton Rouge’s adaption of To Kill a Mockingbird continues its two-week run this weekend, exploring serious topics ranging from racial inequality to the destruction of innocence.
The 1960 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, written by Harper Lee, tells the story of the Finch family, whose patriarch is defending a black man accused of raping a white woman. Through the eyes of a child, Lee explores the themes of class, social norms and courage in the Deep South.
The show boasts a large cast, with Pete Rizzo, Addie Prochaska and Beau Willis filling the roles of Atticus, Scout and Jem Finch, respectively.
