Argyle Wolf-Knapp, author of New Orleans Beer: A Hoppy History of Big Easy Brewing presents at the Main Library at Goodwood next Wednesday, Aug. 9, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Wolf-Knapp has been researching New Orleans brewing history for the past six years with help from The Historic New Orleans Collection, the Tulane Libraries, Stan Schneider, The Beer in Me, Eastern Coast Breweriana Association, Kirk Coco, Peter Cadoo, Michael Calabrease and Sondra Venable. In the book, Wolf-Knapp and co-author Jeremy Labadie recount 300 years of New Orleans breweries from older institutions such as Jax, Regal and Dixie to modern craft breweries including Abita, NOLA and Bayou Teche.
