Juban Crossing growing rapidly with new restaurants

Throughout the past year, Juban Crossing has been shaping the Denham Springs dining and entertainment scene in a big way.

With the recent additions of Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar and Movie Tavern, the Livingston Parish development has proven to be a destination for some of the most popular local and nationwide eateries.

On Monday, Juban Crossing officially welcomed Walk-On’s, the first Denham Springs location of the Baton Rouge-based restaurant and the eighth location statewide.

The restaurant is located at 27010 Crossing Circle in the Juban Crossing shopping center. Walk-On’s general manager Daniel Poche, who grew up in Denham Springs, said in a prepared statement that he and everyone involved with the Cajun-inspired restaurant are thrilled to be bringing the eatery to Juban Crossing.

“We’re all really pleased with how beautifully the Denham Springs Walk-On’s turned out and we couldn’t be more happy for Daniel and his team,” Brandon Landry, co-founder and owner of Baton Rouge-based Walk-On’s Enterprises, said in a press release. “Juban Crossing is such an exciting growth area, and we think Walk-On’s is a perfect fit for the residents and businesses that are flocking to it.”

The Juban Crossing Movie Tavern, located at 9998 Crossing Way, opened early this week as the largest of the three locations in Louisiana. The cinema-eatery features a full bar, power recliners in all 11 auditoriums, and its full service in-theater dining experience in 46,000 square feet of space.

“Denham Springs and the surrounding area is the ideal community for the Movie Tavern experience,” Movie Tavern vice president of marketing Danny DiGiacomo said in a press release.

Walk-On’s and Movie Tavern are just a couple of additions to come to fruition at Juban Crossing. Juban Crossing recently welcomed Burgersmith, Pot & Paddle Jambalaya Kitchen and Stroubes Grille is currently in the works, with an opening planned for later this year.
