From Business Report: Popcorn Bistro, Smashburger to open in Corporate shopping center
Baton Rouge will soon have new popcorn and burger joints in the form of Popcorn Bistro and Smashburger in the shopping center at 7474 Corporate Blvd. Popcorn Bistro will open its second Capital City location Nov. 15 in the space previously occupied by Quiznos. Smashburger, a Denver-based fast-casual chain, plans to open a location in March in the space formerly home to Louisiana Pizza Kitchen, which is currently subleased to Trios Mexican Bar and Grill. Tickets on sale for ‘Cocktails in the Garden’
The LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens hosts a cocktail party next Friday 6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. The Cocktails in the Garden event will feature a backdrop of the “Golden Age of Hollywood,” with music from Ned Fasullo and The Fabulous Big Band and food and drinks from area restaurants and bars.
