Overall pretty good. Service leaves a little to be desired but the food is decent, perhaps not very authentic but it is a chain after all.

Had a night out with my gal pals. Our first choice was unavailable, so we agreed upon the Macaroni Grill, as the 3 of them had been before and loved it.

Service was quick and polite. Our server was more than accommodating. She even went as far as to split our appetizers and desserts into quarters so that we all knew exactly how much we owed.

The Bruschetta was disgraceful. The tomatoes were exceedingly salty, and the bread was lightly toasted on top and not at all crispy.

Next, 2 of the girls ordered Chicken Ravioli, one ordered chicken marsala, and I had the eggplant parmesean. The portions were generous. I'm a vegetarian, so I didn't taste their dishes, but they raved about them. My own dish was perfect. The sauce was thick and flavorful, the eggplant was cooked just right.

For dessert, let me recommend the fried, stuffed Ravioli with caramel topped ice cream. A friend and I split the chocolate cake with ganache (that didn't tast a thing like ganache,... it tasted like cocoa powder and powdered sugar mixed up with a dash of cream and was kinda grainy, but it was still pretty good. Way too sweet, though).

Overall, thanks for a great night. :)
