Disappointing. I've heard good things, but my boyfriend and I went last Wednesday and were treated horrible. We were immediately sat (in a half empty restaurant) and no one else came to us after that. We sat for 15 minutes with no service. We left and walked 20 feet next door to The Loft.

i recommend the first poster give the grape another shot. we were skeptical at first, fearing there would be far too much elbow rubbing going on for a table of two to get much service. nothing could be farther from the truth. we were immediately sat as well ( in an almost full restaurant) at a beautiful outside table (the host gave us the choice). our waiter appeared before long (maybe five minutes) and explained the brilliant menu to us. while attempting to choose from what seemed like a bazillion wines, we are approached by the owner! he asked if we where having a good night and when we responded that we looked forward to our dessert only evening, he made the most wonderful wine recommendations. he could have slithered off in disappointment at what would probably be a short check, but he didnt. he made modest recommendations based soley on what OUR preferences were. i ordered a half glass of a wonderful muscato and my husband a large glass of some red (can you tell im not a red girl?). two more half glasses of white, another tall red, and a sexy dessert fondue later, we left very satisfied. my husband commented he could drink there every night!
