The Summer Solstice

When: Saturday, June 21, 2008, 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Where: Highland Road Park Observatory

Description: The summer solstice is that moment when the Sun reaches the northernmost point in Earth's sky. Children will view a presentation, then engage in a hands-on activity. For children ages eight to twelve. Parent must remain with child. Limit fifteen; walk-ins welcome, but HRPO will take reservations over the phone beginning 14 June.
