Description: The Louisiana Sinfonietta will hold its Music for the Young at Heart Concert on Jan. 13 at the LSU School of Music Recital Hall at 2 p.m. The Sinfonietta will be under the direction of award-winning conductor Dinos Constantinides.
The concert will feature a variety of music that will appeal to the whole family, especially children.
The concert will feature Albinoni's Sinfonia a 4, Copland's Rodeo-Hoe Down, Giselle Eastman's Scherzo for Flute and Strings, J.S. Bach's Concerto in A major for Oboe D’Amore featuring James Ryon on the Oboe D’Amore, Vivaldi's Guitar Concerto featuring guitarist Ronaldo Cadeu, and Constantinides's The Cat that Walked by Himself featuring Judy Constantinides as the reader.
Tickets for the concert are $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors, and children 12 and under are free.
