I can say that my brother in law specifically chose Fleur de Lis for his birthday dinner and he along with 11 of us got up and walked out after ordering drinks because the wait staff was so horrible. We went right down the street to Superior and had a wonderful meal and a GREAT waitress..this is the WORST service in Baton Rouge I would rather go to Pastime's any day of the week than 2 blocks away from home to Fleur de Lis

These are wonderful things to bring your family to, but you can't misss the Fest for All downtown on the 6-7th of May. There is plenty of stuff for ALL ages to do and it is fun and crafty and great music of all kinds from electronic to zydeco.. Hope to see ya'll there.

As I grew up going to Dearman's it was very disappointing to see the old time drugstore go. That was part of the 50's vibe you went to the soda shop at the drugstore for a malted and a burger. While your buger was cooking you could wander the aisles and look at the things the store had to offer. It is just sad to see a Baton Rouge institution go down again. It is comforting that he did keep it a burger joint but it is sad to see that when you ride by the front of the shop all you see is tables and none of the old charm that Dearman's had. I will have to try the burgers and a malted before I say that it isn't worth the 2 minute trip for me though.

Pinetta's has been one to the city's small - and I do mean small- treasures for it seems like an eternity. From the original owners to the new owners the food is impeccable and the service wonderful. It is definitly a nice romatic place to go with the significant other and a great place to go to have a relaxing meal with friends.
