There is absolutely no other restuarant in Baton Rouge comparable to this. I have waited and waited for Baton Rouge to finally get a top quality restaurant that is more than just a fancy name or a million dollar renovation downtown.

I lived in New York for 6 years, and let me tell you. Bistro Byronz has captured the feel and ambiance of a true bistro. The decor alone is interesting and inviting, and there is just something that happens when you walk through the doors that just makes you feel like you have left normal Louisiana for a while. The subway tile and beautifully lit bar compliment the authentic t copper tin roof reminescent of old New York and Paris. Even the tables are perfectly detailed, roughly stained and imperfectly perfect, if that makes sense. They have really done a great job of operating as a buzzling lunch metropolis as well as a trendy nighttime dinner stop, filled with ambiance and welcoming to both families and singles looking for a social scene. And then there is the food. I can find something I hate at every restaurant. Not here. Everything I have had in my 14 visits in the past three months has been unbelievable. THey have even found a way for me to love blue cheese, smothered on top of there home fried potato chips. Trust me on this one, have the pot roast or avacado sandwich for lunch, stop in for dinner and have the tenderloin tail steaks, and you will never, and I mean never, settle for one of the fake new restaurants in Baton Rouge again. One more thing, each time I go, it is more and more crowded. I think Baton Rouge is really catching on about this place. So if you dont want to wait, you better go soon.
