BREC and the Scotlandville Hornets Alumni Association will host its annual Blues and Heritage Festival Saturday. The free family event takes place at the Anna T. Jordan Community Park (Map it!) and starts at 1 p.m. The event includes a children’s village, health information and vendors as well as concessions. Live musical guests include the Ray Neal Production, Frederick Beal Band and Ernest Jackson. BREC encourages event goers to bring blankets and lawn chairs, but no ice chests will be allowed.
