Marshall’s Law

Call it a cast on the verge. Nerd pin-ups Kristen Bell of Heroes and Mila Kunis of Family Guy join every supporting player from Knocked Up for Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Like most successful comedies, this one has a simple set-up: An average Joe gets dumped by his star-on-the-rise girlfriend and to deal with the pain decamps on a Hawaiian vacation. Trouble ensues when Sarah, now an in-demand actress, turns up at the same resort with her new boyfriend, a cheesy pop star, in tow. Jason Segel and Bell play the warring exes, and they are certainly ready for lead roles in an offbeat comedy, but this being another Judd Apatow production, look for supporting actors like Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd and Kristen Wiig to steal the show. Forgetting Sarah Marshall opens April 18. forgettingsarahmarshall.com

ALSO IN APRIL: Nim’s Island (4/4), Shine a Light (4/4), Leatherheads (4/4), Street Kings (4/11), 88 Minutes (4/18), Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (4/18)
