The Young Professionals of the LSU Museum of Art presents the latest MOA Nights on April 5 in conjunction with the museum’s latest exhibit, An Adventure in the Arts, featuring pieces by artists such as Andy Warhol, Willem de Kooning, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein and Jackson Pollock. An evening of art, music, food and live entertainment from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. will take over three floors of the Shaw Center. lsumoa.com

Forum 35’s Art Mob is taking the lead in supporting the recently developed Baton Rouge Autonomous New School Network by creating the juried art competition, art supply drive and fundraising event Smock, Paper, Scissors from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 12 at Towne Center at Cedar Lodge. The Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre brings its classic retelling of Cinderella back to the River Center stage April 18-20. Company dancers will portray everyone from the fairy godmother to the wicked stepsisters to Cinderella through colorful choreography and lavish costumes. Cinderella’s Masked Ball, a catered reception with dancing, will follow the Friday evening performance at 7 p.m. Children are invited to attend the Glass Slipper Ball following the matinee performances at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. batonrougeballet.org
