1. I purchased the embroidered chocolate brown throw from Simply Shelley in Lydie Ruth, a stationary store on Lee Drive.
2. The Nelson bench and Jensen chair were part of the first set of furniture my parents bought to furnish their home in Covington more than 50 years ago.
3. The sheep’s wool Flokati rug pairs well with the mid-century style of the bedroom.
4. Christopher sketched this nude drawing in orange and black charcoal while attending Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
5. This lamp is one of a set, and one of our favorite eBay purchases. We got both for $250. They have spaghetti-spun glass shades in yellow, red and orange. Orange is my favorite color, and it plays a prominent role throughout the house.
