Band of Horses, the acclaimed South Carolina roots rock band that produced Paste magazine’s 2007 Record of the Year, plays Spanish Moon on Feb. 4. | On Feb. 8, New York City’s electro-rock band, The Bravery, performs at The Varsity in support of their latest album, The Sun and the Moon, with opener Dax Riggs of Deadboy & The Elephantmen. | Carrying the anti-establishment mantle forged by his father Woody, Arlo Guthrie brings his considerable catalogue, including “City of New Orleans” and talking blues anti-draft anthem “Alice’s Restaurant Massacree,” to the Manship Theatre for solo concerts on Feb. 26 and 27. | Former Stan Getz and Chet Baker collaborator and Grammy-nominated jazz pianist Kenny Barron and his Kenny Barron Trio roll into the Manship Theatre for two shows Feb. 28.
