My Space

1. Wall sculpture. This metal sculpture is by the artist Silas Seandel and was originally executed for the Johnson and Johnson offices in New York City.

2. Impressionist landscapes. These two paintings were given to us by Louisiana artist Myra Williamson, a close personal friend.

3. Dresser. In the foyer we have a Heywood-Wakefield Kohinoor Mr. & Mrs. dresser topped with a mid-century art glass bowl.

4. Francis Knoll Lounge seating. A local physician had acquired the office furnishings of another physician, and he sold us his old set. This white wool sofa was beige with years of dirt and oil and we steam cleaned it many times until it was white again. The arms of the suede chairs were black and we used a suede brush and vacuum cleaner until it regained its beautiful olive color.
