Description: From Age-ing to Sage-ing: A Profound New Vision of Growing Older by Zalman Schachter-Shalomi -Book Study
Wednesdays May 23-June 27, 6:30-8:30pm
This is a wonderful book for anyone of any age who has begun to recognize that medical science has added years to our lives, and who wants to add meaning and life to those years. To create this book Rabbi Schachter-Shalomi went on a vision quest, consulted Sufi masters, Buddhist teachers and Native-Americans shamans among others to discover how to turn aging into the most meaningful, and most truly wonderful, time of life. (The first week’s discussion will cover Part I, The Theory of Spiritual Eldering.)
Facilitated by Joan McCaskill, Spiritual Director, MA.
