Description: Closing out OMC’s yearlong celebration of its 20th year will be Altitude, a unique production that will take audiences to new heights… literally! Contemporary movement joins with aerial dance in this latest presentation from the community’s premier dance-theater company. The work will send dancers aloft on swings suspended from above and will also include acrobatic choreography performed on a 12-foot tower. Dancers will manipulate an 800-square-foot piece of Chinese silk to reach the absolute heights of the stage in choreography by Bethany Jones McCullough.
Tickets are available at the Manship Theatre ticket desk on their website or call 225.344.0334. For more information, call OMC at 225.338.0804.
