Description: "Helicopter" means "spiral wing"; several semi-successful models existed in the 1800s. And kite-flying as a hobby took place over 3000 years ago in China. Children will view a presentation, then engage in a hands-on activity.

For children ages eight to twelve. Five dollars per in-parish child; six dollars per out-of-parish child. Parent must remain with child. Limit fifteen; walk-ins welcome, but HRPO will take reservations over the phone beginning 12 July.
