White Oak Plantation Seminar Celebrates The Fifth Season

Description: “The Fifth Season: Filling the Holidays with Aromatic Spices” will be the theme of White Oak Plantation’s next Culinary Garden Seminar, on Wednesday, November 14, 11:00 AM–2:00 PM. Culinary herbalist Sarah Liberta will offer a variety of edible, fragrant and decorative items, all made with aromatic spices and herbs from the kitchen pantry. White Oak’s chef will feature some of his favorite herbs and spices while demonstrating the preparation of a dish from the lunch menu, and there will be a tour of White Oak’s culinary gardens. Attendees will have a chance to win a gift certificate good for two admissions to a seminar in 2008.

Each seminar includes a mult-course gourmet luncheon with a complimentary glass of wine. Each guest will receive complimentary recipes, an herb plant, and a copy of Louisiana Cookin’ magazine.
