Description: Recognizing that a strong public education system is essential for economic
prosperity, social equity, and active civic engagement, and the
understanding that community involvement is vital to school success, our
goal in hosting the Coalition Round-Up is to communicate the concept of
autonomous schools and to ignite interest and support for these new schools
throughout the community. The critical intended outcome of this meeting is
the creation of a community coalition that will work collaboratively to
support the needs of autonomous schools.
