Description: At the conference, guest speaker Emily Croom will talk in depth about the obstacles faced when researching female ancestry, as well as what tools to use when doing genealogy research.
Local author, Charlotte Hudson Ewing will share her experience about writing and organizing a genealogy mystery novel.
Bill Stafford, assistant director of the Louisiana State Archives, and Janet Colson, assistant director of the Creole Heritage Center, will hold presentations on what their facilities have to offer.
