Watch the red stick drop at midnight from home

While there will be no fireworks or in-person gatherings downtown for this year’s Red Stick Revelry event, the annual celebration will be streamed live on Facebook and the WAFB app—so Baton Rouge residents and natives can ring in the new year together from anywhere.

The event begins Dec. 31 at 11:45 p.m. with speakers Mayor Sharon Weston Broome, Visit Baton Rouge President and CEO Paul Arrigo and other special guests counting down to 2021.
