A Shreveport brewery is making its Baton Rouge debut this week.

Great Raft Brewing has launched in the Capital City. Beers from the Louisiana craft brewery will now be distributed at select stores and on tap at select bars and restaurants.

Already, the brewery has had a rollout party at The Chimes‘ Highland Road location. Yet, more events are in store this week for those wanting to try the Shreveport beers.

Great Raft is partnering with The Bulldog Thursday, Aug. 6, 5 p.m.-7 p.m., for a tasting. The event will feature Great Raft’s four main beers—Southern Drawl pale lager, Commotion pale ale, Reasonably Corrupt black lager and Grace and Grace and Grit double IPA.

Following the tasting, head to City Pork Deli & Charcuterie for a beer dinner at 8 p.m. that night. There, chef Sean Rivera and Food Network Star competitor Jay Ducote will team up to prepare a five-course menu, inspired by the Great Raft beers. Tickets are $75.
