Heads up: Good music, good food at MJ’s in April
MJ’s Café, a restaurant at 672 Jefferson Highway, will host a new Tables and Tunes Saturday, April 4, 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Denton Hatcher will provide the music. New Orleans’ PJ’s Coffee and WOW Café heading to Southeast Asia
Jeff Giavotella, chief financial officer at Ballard Brands LLC, tells New Orleans CityBusiness that the company will soon reach agreements to expand the PJ’s Coffee and WOW Café & Wingery brands to India, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Middle East. There will be four new locations of each brand in the three countries and in the Middle East, he says. Both the WOW Café brand and PJ’s Coffee—whose headquarters are in Covington—have experienced significant growth over the past several years. There are currently 66 WOW Café locations in the United States and 65 PJ’s locations nationally.
