Beer and wine dinners take over Baton Rouge this week

Those looking for a night on the town have a handful of options this week. Select Capital City stores and restaurants are hosting beer or wine dinners Thursday, July 30.

Beer lovers will want to head to The Pelican House. The beer and tap room is teaming up with Arabi’s 40 Arpent Brewing Co. for a four-course dinner at 7 p.m. The dinner features three of the brewery’s standard beers and one-off kegs brewed just for the event. Tickets are $67. Only 40 seats are available. If you’re in the mood for Spanish wine and tapas, don’t miss Alexander’s Highland Market‘s dinner. The store at 18111 Highland Market Drive is hosting a tapas dinner at 7 p.m. in its cafe. Tickets are $75. Seating is limited. Call 615-7800 to reserve your seats. Check out the menu.
