Fashion, meet Recyclables

Forget Project Runway, this year’s fashion prodigy may spring from Greenery: Recyclable Artwear for Kids. From old CDs to shredded color paper and plastic wires, recycled materials will be available at the Louisiana State Museum for children to create their own “green” artwear (we foresee some futuristic looks). 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26. Cost is $7. Proceeds benefit the Uncommon Thread Wearable Art Show.
