Try an easy tomatoes and cucumber sandwich-butter two slices of country white bread..spread thinly sliced cucumbers and tomatoes on one ..sprinkle with salt and pepper and top with the other piece of buttered bread.Munch away with tea!!
Here's another one-
Baba ghanoush(roasted, peeled and mashed aubergine, blended with garlic and spices and topped with olive oil) sandwiches-Try them.. try them ..you will like them you will see!!

I don't think Flemings is fine dining. Slapping a steak on a plate and serving it with zero effort on presentation makes Flemings a B rater on my list. The only thing upscale here are the prices. They really need to get creative.

Love the NY vibe this restaurant has. Love the Shrimp soup and the Avacado sandwich-they are my favorites at Byronz.
The Byronz burger is yummy but last time I ordered it lacked seasoning-now I am afraid to try it again. Food needs to taste good consistently-hope they are listening.

I have had a few good meals at The Village and would recommend it to family and friends. The bread is exceptional and so are the Boudain balls and sea food salad. In fact what ever we have ordered was really delicious.
Friends who have been patrons since before the restaurant moved to the new location in downtown tell me that the service has been inconsistent in the past. Hopefully the owners can get their act together and not let everyone down.

The service sucks-the servers are cold and indifferent. I eat here often though because there are no other "high end"Asian restaurants in BR.I don't think any of the dishes are mindblowing . The food is decent at best but yes the Lettuce wraps are amazing.
P.S : My new fav is A Taste of Asia on Sherwood-try it out.

I have a 2 yr old and we always borrow your ideas and have tons of fun. I was planing to go check out the Jambalaya park water area one of these days- is it worth the drive to Gonzales?

Fish is always easy to cook- sprinkle some southwest blackening rub on tilapia or catfish filets and squeeze lime juice for some citrus action. Pan fry for 2 mins on each side and viola you have a hot meal. Great with leftover rice and grilled veggies!

Guy's check out 'A taste of Asia" on Sherwood. The Thai food is one of the best I've tasted in BR.
