I am MAJ. Jesse Carnes. I personally know the Joslyn family and Aaron plays with my twin's kids all of the time.
The Joslyns live around the corner from Bobby and his family. Yes, I think very strict guidelines need to be set into place regarding the ownership of a breed of dog which has a high hazard-level to the public. But let me add that the need to restrict Pit Bull ownership goes even deeper: The problem of CRIME. Sadly, Pit Bulls are very popular locally and in large cities such as NYC, but often times for the wrong reason. Many drug dealers will purchase and TRAIN their Pit Bulls to ignore pain, and to be highly tenacious in the protection of their owner's "stash." In many US cities, it is apparently a HIP thing to have Pit Bulls as your stash guard dogs. Again, this is abuse. EBRPAC Director, Hilton Cole made it quite clear concerning the unusual abundance of these aggresive animals at the Animal Control Center, as compared with other breeds of dogs. As the movie song goes: "Hey--and it don't Look Good . . . in your Neighbourhood!"
