Think Twice Style: Inspired by summer camp

Glamping: camping in style.

When you’re sad that you can’t go to summer camp anymore, you can make up for it by adding elements to your wardrobe that reflect the times you had when you were a kid. Or is that just me? A pair of chino shorts are versatile for summer. They look great dressed up or pared down—it’s all in the styling. A basic tank is the perfect layering piece for when your metallic button-up gets too hot. Speaking of your button-up, leave it unbuttoned for a relaxed look, or button it low and tie it at the bottom. Undone is the best version of done.

The difference between camping and glamping is in the accessories. Tie in the metallic theme with a pair of comfortable slide sandals. Don a pair of neutral sunglasses to keep the squints away. You may think to skip out on the jewelry, but something delicate and simple would be just enough to keep you feeling glamorous. After sunscreen, put on a little bit of CC cream with moisturizer to keep the blemishes covered and swipe on a tinted lip balm. Carry your drink and snacks in your trusty backpack that can easily be taken from the street to the woods. Skip the perfume on the way out the door, though. You’re already sweet enough for the bugs.
