Each summer I go on a crazy hunt for a few easy dresses that are cute, cotton, versatile and, most of all, cheap. It takes a little time to find them, but this year it was a breeze! Y’all, Old Navy is killin’ it for me this summer. Adorable dresses at even more adorable prices? I’m down!
The minute I bought this striped swing dress I knew I should have gotten a backup (or two) just in case I wore it out this season (which I know I will). Do you know that feeling? It’s like shopper’s remorse, only worse. Because you know, you knoooooow that when you finally remember to check online or pop into the store again, your holy grail of garb will be either 1) sold out or 2) no longer available. Bring on the waterworks! If you are wondering why on Earth I am going on and on about the tribulations of a single treasured item of clothing, it is because this happened to me. With this dress. That’s right! Join me in my sorrows, won’t you?
The lesson here is: When you find the perfect throw-it-on-and-go piece, buy two.
