Rodéo Boutique’s new line of curated boxes makes gift-giving easy

What do you need to say to your friend, sister, mom, girlfriend?

From “Too Good For Him Anyway” to “You’re So Awesome! Congrats!” to “Sorry I Was So Prickly,” you can say it with a box from Rodéo Boutique.

The store’s recently-launched line of Rodéo Wrapped boxes are assembled by the boutique’s experts and filled with gifts and snacks, ranging from party boxes to pamper- or breakup-themed boxes.

Masterminded by owner Shanna Boudreaux and merchandiser Carol Meche, Rodéo Wrapped aims to make gift-giving fun, easy and—most of all—adorable.

“It is so fulfilling to make these boxes and just [see] the notes that people write to their friends or their sisters or whoever it is, just saying, ‘I love you—here’s a little something to remind you of that. Keep your chin up,’” Meche says.

The boxes range in price from $24 (a “We’ve Got Big News” baby gender reveal box complete with a pink or blue confetti popper) to $134 (a “Sophisticated” bar box featuring gilded glasses and Kate Spade drink-stirrers). They’ve also launched a line of holiday-themed boxes ranging from $40 to $98.

The price doesn’t just cover the items, though. It also includes weeks of curation, personalized cards and colorful packaging of paper, confetti and glitter. Shipping is additional, but it usually doesn’t cost more than $10 for Rodéo to mail a box out for you.

“They’re paying for the convenience and the ease and the attention to detail. We’ve put a lot of time and effort into these and making sure we’re picking products that we feel really go well together and that are tried and tested so that we know that we like them. We’ve eaten plenty of the chocolate bars and tested the bath soaps,” Meche says with a laugh. “They’re products that we stand behind, so we know someone will get it and actually really love what they’re getting.” rodeobutique.com
