Beloved in Baton Rouge for many reasons: the Ninfarita is considered the best Margarita in town; the plates of food are generous; the chile rellenos are fried perfectly. Go there for drinks, but be prepared to fight a crowd.

did you notice my log in? we are four week old rougians (whats the word?). we moved from tx where we traveled often, usually navigated by our stomach. we've eaten mexican in el paso, in san antonio, in houston and at home. if nifas is mexican, there's another country needing a place on the map. who puts their salsa in the blender? we did appreciate the green dip, but my shrimp dish was horrible, both in my nose and on my tounge, and my husbands dish wasnt much better. we were with a large group, and a lot of "queso" was ordered. uggg. wont return for those either!

BEWARE!!! We had a group of 12 eating late one night in January '09 in the room to the right of the entrance. After all the other tables had cleared out, one employeee set all the empty tables with new silverware and plates.. Then another employee started spraying disinfectant on those tables without picking up the plates first. We were astounded and asked him does he realize the danger of what he was doing? He responded by laughing at us and claiming "at least they are now clean". He seemed to have no fear that we would tell management. I would never recomend that anyone eat at this establishment who values their health.
