Lovers of slightly sweet marinara rave about Gino's, which has been operated by the family for decades. The features include veal Florentine and pasta dishes of all kinds. Our favorite is the tortellini. Great live jazz too.

This place is a great place for a date. Dark and romantic ambiance that will set the mood perfectly for that evening for two. The service is incredible. The food however wasnt what I was expecting. The food was good but somehow didnt quite live up to the sophistication or taste the restaurant suggested. Overall though its a great place that I wouldnt mind visitng multiple times.

My husband and I visited Gino's the other night and we were very disappointed with the food. The spaghetti sauce was not slightly sweet but sweet like someone dumped a ton of sugar into it. It was also very watery and did not stick to the pasta. The pasta was overcooked as well. The redfish was just ok. The seasoning on it consisted of a LOT of chopped garlic and a LOT of lemon juice. It overpowered what would have been a great piece of fish. I found the quality of food lacking when compared to the prices listed on the menu.
The atmosphere there is great for a night out but we were seated at what could have been a very forgettable table.
Service was excellent. Our server Aaron deserves to be complimented. Prompt and attentive. His few mistakes were overlooked because of his ability to make the best out of the situation (forgotten beer, no bread).
All in all a huge disappointment when it came to the food as well as grossly overpriced for the quality.

Overpriced and terrible food. Let's start with the Bread that you have to pay for...A couple of little loaves that weren't even as good as the frozen food section of your local grocery ($2.75). The "Lawrense Salad" a small plate of letuce and a weak vinegrette ($4.95). Our entrees "Veal Parmisian" should have been titled "Unidentified Gristly Meat covered in a soupy sweet red sauce with cheese"...And my wife's Chicken Picatta should have been called "A Dry Chicken breast with a Lemon Slice and a Parsley Sprig". The service was aweful and the prices were rediculous. I'll stick to Ruffinos and Carrabas for Italian in this town.
