The Claiborne Collection in the Claiborne State Office Building is part of the Louisiana Percent for Art Program. The artworks are installed throughout the first floor of the building and are of a variety of mediums. Admission is free. The Percent for Art law states that when construction of a state building exceeds $2 million, then 1% of the expenditure shall be for works of art for the building and its grounds.
