This is a younger me on the trip I made to Qatar three years ago. I put on typical Arab dress just to mess around with my relatives. The pitfall of the Arab dress for someone who does not typically wear it is definitely its headgear. It is not strapped on to your head in any way so if you bend down to pick up something and forget to hold it on to your headgear it will fall off. Its also a problem when getting into a car, because you are an inch taller than you previously were and that inch gets knocked off.
